The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International recognized John Fareed Hospitality Consulting LLC with two gold and a bronze Adrian Award for digital marketing excellence for its winning entries in the 59th annual Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.

This year’s contest was one of the most competitive in history, garnering more than 1,300 entries from around the world, with entries judged by distinguished executives from all sectors of the industry.

The awards were presented in recognition of the firm’s digital marketing for Deep Water Cay, an upscale private island resort in the Bahamas, the Novotel New York Times Square, and the famed Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The awards were presented during the annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala, a black-tie affair attended by more than 1,000 hospitality, travel and tourism marketing executives at the New York Marriott Marquis on February 16th, 2016.

Additionally, our own John Fareed presented one of two Trend Spotlights during the ceremonies. The segment discussed experiential marketing, and Fareed shared examples from several of the 2016 Gold Adrian Award winners.

“Experiential Marketing is helping brands move the needle in a variety of ways… Pfister hotel used an augmented reality app to transform the entire location into an interactive experience for guests…Greyhound took the show on the road developing a Centennial Tour for two mobile museums… Lufthansa showcased its new regional menus with a themed food truck featuring samples of new dishes,” Fareed shared.
